Bujam are utilitarian pandanus pouches are made by the Mah Meri tribe of Carey Island. It comes in various sizes and can be used for keeping name card, coins, handphones and others. Apok are made by the Temiar hill-tribe and comes in natural colors, light brown. The traditional way of using a Bujam is storing of herbs and is hung around the neck like a neckless.
The Apok received the UNESCO Seal of Excellence in 2002.
The Apok Sog Aleh is used to store a baby’s hair after he/she was born.
