REPLICA OF A MAH MERI TRADITIONAL VILLAGE ( Suitable for video shooting )
We always wonder how is it like in the old days on the island. We are in the process of building a typical Mah Meri village as far as the elders can remember. There were huts built high to avoid the flood and wild animals. The were watch towers to see the oncoming visitors and even shelters disguised as bird's nest. A full scale paho' or boat house has been restored to its former glory. This is just the beginning, a full scale traditional village is being planned for the next season in February 2024.
